Bank Robbery in Downtown Los Angeles! Video
Saw this happen earlier today (9/26/07) in downtown LA. Masked thieves running out to a getaway car, only to be surrounded by cops who run right by them into the bank, allowing thieves to escape! When it was all over a director yelled "reset!" and the scene unfolded again.
Damn commercial shoots.
Of course, its all fake, but for some reason people don't want to read the description and assume this could actually happen. The commercial was for the Chevy Malibu. Except for the block this took place on, the shoot was open to the public.

1) Why would the robber do a hood? slide? This isn't Hollywood. He'd be more focused on just getting the hell out? of there and not looking like Jackie Chan in some action flick.
2) You can see the one police cruiser in the background just sitting there while the guys are running out of the store. Then Once they are in their car, the cops turn on their lights and sirens and pull up.
3)No cop in their right mind would rush right into a building where a robbery is in progress... just dangerous
